MY REWARDS CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS AND USERS: THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DOCUMENT WHICH EXPLAINS THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MYREWARDSCLUB PROGRAMME – PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY AND PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO CLAUSES IN BOLD TEXT.

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of our website at www.myrewardsclub.co.za, our MyRewardsClub application, the MyRewardsClub loyalty programme and our services (collectively, the “MyRewardsClub Interface”).  By using or accessing the MyRewardsClub Interface, you agree to be bound to these Terms.  If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the MyRewardsClub Interface or any part thereof.

You warrant and represent that you are, at least, 18 (eighteen) years of age or, if your local jurisdiction’s statutes dictate a higher minimum age, then you warrant that you meet the mandated legal local minimum age, or that you are assisted by your legal guardian who will be transacting on your behalf and that you are mentally fit to transact on the MyRewardsClub Interface.

If this is not the case, you must notify us immediately if you require any assistance to understand or interpret these Terms.

PLEASE READ OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT AND THE FOLLOWING TERMS BEFORE USING THE MYREWARDSCLUB INTERFACE.

BY CONTINUING TO ACCESS OR USE THE MYREWARDSCLUB INTERFACE, YOU WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND HAVE AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

  1. Definitions:

In these Terms the following words and expressions shall have the following meaning: “DR”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Direct Rewards Proprietary Limited, a limited liability company registered in the Republic of South Africa, with registration number 2014/076232/07, including all of our subsidiaries; “you”, “your” or “subscriber/user” refers to the person accessing or using the MyRewardsClub Interface.

  1. Who we are:
    • DR is the owner and operator of the MyRewardsClub Interface, the MyRewardsClub loyalty programme and the benefits provided as part of the MyRewardsClub loyalty programme (“MyRewardsClub”).
    • Our contact details are as follows:
  1. About the MyRewardsClub Loyalty Programme:
    • MyRewardsClub is brought to you by DR and this loyalty programme is available to all customers at a monthly subscription fee, as reflected on the MyRewardsClub Interface.
    • All participants must:
      • be legal residents in the Republic of South Africa;
      • be currently residing in the country at the commencement date of the subscription;
      • be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age at the commencement date of the subscription;
      • be in possession of a valid South African identity book/card or passport (if a foreign national); and
      • must redeem vouchers within the stated validity period.
    • The fee payable for MyRewardsClub will escalate annually. This increase is expected to be aligned to the consumer price index.  In addition to this, we reserve the right to review the MyRewardsClub benefits from time to time.  We will notify you of any increases in the monthly subscription fee or if the MyRewardsClub benefits are amended in any material way.
    • You will not be entitled to receive any MyRewardsClub benefits where your monthly subscription fee has not been paid in full.
    • We may, from time to time, run additional specials which will be valid for a limited period only. Specific terms and conditions for such specials will be available on the MyRewardsClub Interface and shall substitute these Terms as reasonably required for that particular special.
    • Your MyRewardsClub benefits will be activated following confirmation of successful payment of your monthly subscription fee.
    • Your MyRewardsClub subscription will automatically renew, on a month-to-month basis, and shall continue to renew until you terminate your MyRewardsClub subscription by giving us 20 (twenty) days’ notice in writing.
    • You will remain liable for the monthly subscription fee until the date on which the notice in terms of clause 3.7 expires, on a pro rata-basis, and any positive balance shall be refunded to you.
    • Please take notice that your membership status may take up to 48 (forty-eight) hours to activate on the MyRewardsClub application.
    • The MyRewardsClub application may, at times, be unavailable due to routine maintenance.

3.11        Any competitions or events operated by DR including any of its subsidiaries and/ or its associated entities, are independent and have not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Apple Inc.

General Competition Rules

  • DR including any of its subsidiaries and/ or its associated entities may run competitions from time to time.
  • Please note that competitions are sponsored only by the listed Promoter/s and no other third party.
  • In addition to these terms and conditions, specific competition terms and conditions will also apply.
  • All competitions will be governed by laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • DR reserves the right to, upon notice, cancel or alter any aspect of any competitions at any time at its sole discretion without liability.

 

  1. MyRewardsClub Dining Benefit:
    • The MyRewardsClub dining benefit (the “Dining Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to buy 1 (one) meal and get refunded on the second most expensive meal, up to a maximum value of R120 (one hundred and twenty Rand).
    • The Dining Benefit can be used at over 1000 participating restaurants countrywide.
    • Refund claims are processed by DR and not by the relevant restaurant.
    • All Dining Benefit queries and questions should be referred to DR by calling 087 825 1156 or by emailing claims@myrewardsclub.co.za.
    • The Dining Benefit is subject to the following conditions:
      • you must be dining or requesting online delivery with at least 1 (one) other person;
      • no less than 2 (two) meals and 2 (two) drinks are purchased on your subscription;
      • you are at least 18 (eighteen) years of age;
      • you are a paid-up subscriber of MyRewardsClub;
      • the Dining Benefit can only be redeemed at participating restaurants which can be found on the MyRewardsClub application. We shall be entitled, in our sole and absolute discretion, to amend the list of restaurants from time to time.  Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that all listed restaurants are trading, DR shall not be held liable in the event of any restaurant closures;
      • the Dining Benefit is based on the relevant restaurant’s standard prices and cannot be used with any special offers, promotions, other discount vouchers or other loyalty programs;
      • the Dining Benefit cannot be used when purchasing takeaways;
      • you may only use the Dining Benefit once per restaurant per day;
      • the Dining Benefit does not apply to desserts, extras, toppings, sides (e.g. build your burger, extras on pizza etc.);
      • the refund applies to individual line items on the menu whereby only 1 (one) discount applies;
      • the Dining Benefit can be used for courses that include drinks, provided it is not a special; and
      • a maximum of 2 (two) subscriptions may be used per table, provided they are under different names and each subscriber must claim separately;
      • claims must be submitted via the MyRewardsClub application within 24 hours from your order delivery.
      • Dining Benefit may not be used within 3 hours of a previous claim.
      • Dining Benefit may not be used at any restaurant at which the Member is employed.

 

  • The refund will be calculated on the second most expensive meal on the bill, up to a maximum of R120.00 (one hundred and twenty Rand). Your claim may be verified with the relevant restaurant to ensure validity.
  • Your claim will be processed within 5 (five) Working Days (defined as Mondays to Fridays, excluding South African public holidays).
  • Your refund will be calculated as follows:
    • subscription 1: 2nd most expensive meal on the bill up to a maximum of R120 (one hundred and twenty Rand); and
    • subscription 2: 4th most expensive meal on the bill up to a maximum of R120 (one hundred and twenty Rand).
  • You must activate your claim in the MyRewardsClub application before dining or after your order delivery. The activation date and time must be earlier in time than the date and time reflected on your receipt.
  • Claims:
    • must be submitted via the MyRewardsClub application within 24 hours after sit down dining or after delivery of your online order;
    • will be deposited into the bank account in the name of the subscriber only; and
    • must include a complete and legible claim submission.
    • must include the original restaurant receipt clearly displaying the restaurant name, receipt number, date and time (credit card receipts not accepted) in the form of a clear photo and will not be processed if the details on your receipt (restaurant name, date) do not match your “claim” or if the time of payment is more than 24 (twenty-four) hours from your “claim” time.
  • Your subscription to MyRewardsClub is non-transferable.
  • At DR’s discretion, we may request proof of payment to be submitted along with any pro forma invoices that are submitted e.g. credit card slip, Zapper, Snapscan receipt or cash receipt.
  • Payments will not be processed if the details on any receipt (restaurant name or date) does not match the authorisation or if the time of payment is over 5 (five) hours from the relevant authorisation time. Should you wish to reschedule your restaurant booking, a new authorisation code should be requested through the MyRewardsClub application.  Backdated authorisations will not be allowed by DR under any circumstances.
  • Any subscriber who fails to adhere to, or attempts to circumvent, the applicable Terms or abuse the Dining Benefits may result in the termination of their eligibility to receive the Dining Benefits in the future. DR shall not be held liable for any losses should a subscriber be denied access to the Dining Benefits on the basis of this clause.
  • You may not deduct, withhold, bank exchange, commission or set-off any amounts from amounts which are owed to us, without our prior written consent.
  1. Fast Food
  • The EAT fast food benefit (the “Fast Food Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to a conditional discount voucher on your next fast food meal purchased from a participating store, provided that you:
    • spend R250 (two hundred and fifty Rand) or more, excluding the delivery fee, to qualify for a R50 (fifty Rand) voucher;
    • spend R150 (one hundred and fifty Rand) or more, excluding the delivery fee, to qualify for a R30 (thirty Rand) voucher;
    • spend R100 (one hundred Rand) or more, excluding the delivery fee, to qualify for a R15 (fifteen Rand) voucher; and
    • submit your claim within 24 (twenty-four) hours from visiting the participating outlet or ordering through the respective fast food application (e.g. the Steers App).
  • For the Steers mobile application voucher redemptions, you will need to adhere to the Steers mobile application terms and conditions.
  • You will also need to enter the voucher number on the Steers app before selecting the payment method.
  • To qualify for a voucher reissue, you will need to purchase food to the value of R100 (one hundred Rand) or more, excluding your voucher spend.
  • All claim submissions will be vetted and approved by DR based on the above criteria.
  • The refund will be calculated as per the qualifying criteria and the amount spent on the bill, up to a maximum of R50.00 (fifty Rand), R30.00 (thirty Rand) and R15.00 (fifteen Rand) in terms of clause 5.1.
  • Your claim will be processed within 3 (three) Business Days.
  • The Fast Food Benefit:

5.8.1     can only be redeemed at participating outlets.  We shall be entitled, in our sole and absolute discretion, to amend the list of outlets from time to time.  Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that all listed outlets are trading, DR shall not be held liable in the event of any restaurant closures;

  • your voucher is valid for 1 (one) use only.
  • you cannot use 2 (two) vouchers for one purchase.
  • you are limited to 4 (four) claims per subscription month.
  • you must redeem within 30days from date of voucher issue.
  • is based on the outlet’s standard prices;
  • shall not be applicable with any special offers, promotions, other discount vouchers or loyalty programs;
  • applies to individual line items on the menu whereby only 1 (one) discount applies; and
  • applies to meals that include drinks.
  1. MyRewardsClub Grocery Coupon Benefit:
  • The MyRewardsClub grocery coupon benefit (the “Grocery Coupon Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to access grocery coupons on a pre-defined list of grocery products at Dis-Chem, Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores.
  • The Grocery Coupon Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee. The coupons are only redeemable at Dis-Chem, Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores within the Republic of South Africa.
  • Please ensure that you have selected all the coupons you wish to purchase in your basket as you are limited to 5 Dis-Chem shopping trips per day.
  • The coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The coupons are only valid until the expiry date and whilst stocks last.
  • Each digital coupon is redeemable via the MyRewardsClub application up to 5 (five) times per month.
  • The pre-defined list of grocery items may be amended by DR in its sole discretion and without further notice to you.
  • To redeem your coupons, Login or Register if you are a first-time user of the MyRewardsClub application.
  • Select your coupons from the relevant coupon partners by following the prompts.
  • Show the coupon code(s) at the till, along with the product you wish to redeem the discount on.
  • Dis-Chem WiCode:
    • Your WiCode is the 7-digit number you type into the PIN pad at the till after your items have been scanned.
    • Once the items have been scanned, inform the cashier that you have coupons and enter your WiCode into the PIN pad at the till.
    • A WiCode will remain valid for 24 (twenty-four) hours from the time of issue.
  1. MyRewardsClub Travel Benefit:

Eldo Coaches

  • The MyRewardsClub travel benefit (the “Travel Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to purchase discounted bus tickets on certain Eldo Coaches routes.
  • The Travel Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee.
  • All bookings must be made via the MyRewardsClub Contact Centre by calling 087 825 1156 during Contact Centre hours which are  Monday  to  Friday  from  08h00  to  17h00  and  Saturdays  from  09h00  to 13h00 or sending an email to support@myrewardsclub.co.za.
  • The MyRewardsClub Contact Centre is not open on Sundays or South African public holidays.
  • Tickets are only confirmed upon receipt of payment into the nominated bank account for which banking details will be provided to the subscriber.
  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • The Travel Benefit discount is only applicable for:
    • Eldo Coaches routes within the borders of the Republic of South Africa;
  • The Travel Benefit includes a discount of 15% (fifteen percent) off the normal fare price of the Eldo Coaches Intercity routes.

7.9.         Tickets issued are subject to the full Terms and Conditions as set out on www. eldocoaches.co.za/terms-conditions, some of which are highlighted above.

7.10.       The passenger, by accepting and using the ticket, confirms that he/she has been given an adequate opportunity to read and understand the Eldo Coaches terms and conditions and that he/she is aware of all of their terms and conditions.

FlySafair:

7.11        The MyRewardsClub travel benefit (the “Travel Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to receive cash back when you fly on FlySafair.

  • The Travel Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee.
  • You will need to book, pay and upload your boarding pass using the MyRewardsClub application and you will get Cash Back paid directly into their bank account.
  • The FlySafair Benefit:
  • Receive R 75.00 Cash Back on any One Way or Return flight purchased on FlySafAir.
  • 1 (one) redemption per member per month (One Way or Return ticket).
  • Validation via uploading of boarding pass and completed claims form using the MyRewardsClub app.
  • Boarding pass to be loaded within 24 hours after departure.
  • If the name on boarding pass does not match what we have on record, our Consultant will call you to verify the details.
  • The claims submission form must clearly show the Members full name, surname, cell phone number and date of the flight.
  • Once verified, the MyRewradsClub backoffice will settle cash back within 5 working days into the member’s bank account
  • The Cash Back rebate offer can be used in conjunction with any other FlySafair offering in the marketplace.
    • Tickets booked and issued are subject to the full Terms and Conditions as set out on https://www.flysafair.co.za/about-us/legal-ts-cs.

7.16.       The passenger, by accepting and using the ticket, confirms that he/ she has been given an adequate opportunity to read and understand the FlySafair terms and conditions and that he/ she is aware of all of their terms and conditions.

  1. MyRewardsClub Retail Benefit:
  • The MyRewardsClub retail benefit (the “Retail Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to a 10% (ten percent) discount on your purchases at any Edgars, Style, Beaver Canoe and Legit stores.
  • The Retail Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee.
  • To qualify for the 10% (ten percent) discount, subscribers must purchase voucher or an electronic Edcon gift card and load it with the value required.
  • The bearer of the voucher or electronic Edcon gift card may use the card to purchase merchandise from any Edgars, Style, Beaver Canoe and Legit stores.
  • The voucher or electronic Edcon gift card will only be accepted if a valid voucher or electronic Edcon gift card number is presented to the cashier from the MyRewardsClub application.
  • All Edcon vouchers and gift cards (“Gift Cards”) have specific Terms and Conditions as set out below:
    • the bearer of the voucher or Gift Card may use the Gift Card to purchase merchandise from any Edgars, Style, Beaver Canoe and Legit stores;
    • the voucher or Gift Card is valid for a period of 3 (three) years from date of issue, activation or upon full redemption thereof, whichever occurs first. If such voucher or Gift Card has been topped-up, it will remain valid for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of top-up or upon full redemption thereof (whichever occurs first) irrespective of the date of issue or activation;
    • the voucher or Gift Card may not be:
      • used for the payment of an Edcon, Style, Beaver Canoe and Legit stores account or be exchanged for cash; or
      • used to purchase airtime;
    • no cash change will be given on purchases made with the voucher or Gift Card;
    • for security reasons, this voucher or Gift Card should be kept in a safe place. If stolen, it may still be used to make unauthorised/ fraudulent purchases;
    • lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded. However, if you are in possession of the voucher or Gift Card number, you can call the Edcon Customer Service Centre on

031 010 0005 to report it lost or stolen, Mon – Fri: 08h00 – 17h00 or email: edgars.customercare@retailability.co.za.  Edcon will block the voucher or the remaining amount on the Gift Card and transfer it to another Gift Card, which will be available when you next visit any Edcon store; and

  • Gift Card balances can be checked in-store at a till point or by calling the Edcon Customer Service Centre on 031 010 0005
  • An electronic voucher/ Gift Card is an SMS version of the existing Gift Card and the following additional terms apply:
    • if the full value of your electronic Gift Card is not used on your first purchase, the balance will be transferred to a physical Gift Card;
    • the electronic Gift Card cannot be topped up or be sent to someone else;
    • should the electronic Gift Card be deleted, or the customer cell phone be lost or stolen, Edcon or DR will not be liable for any reimbursement of any nature. The SMS can be resent, however, only to the original number;
    • the usage of the electronic Gift Card is solely at the risk and discretion of the customer/subscriber; and
    • Edcon or DR shall not be held liable for any cellular network service operator’s delay in forwarding an electronic Gift Card to you.
  • MyRewardsClub Nu Metro Benefit:
  • The MyRewardsClub Nu Metro benefit (the “Nu Metro Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to discounted movie tickets at selected Nu Metro cinemas.
  • The Nu Metro Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee.
  • The vouchers issued as part of the Nu Metro Benefit are only redeemable at selected Nu Metro cinemas.
  • Movie vouchers can be redeemed at a Nu Metro Self-Service Terminal (“SST”), Nu Metro cinema box office (ticket counter), the Nu Metro website or via the Nu Metro call centre.
  • Please note that voucher codes will not be accepted at Hyde Park, Parkview Centre, Woodlands, Emperors Palace or Bedford.
  • The Nu Metro Benefit does not apply to 3D, 4DX, Extreme, VIP, Ballet and Opera Circuits.
  • Movie vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.
  • As a MyRewardsClub subscriber you are not limited to the number of vouchers available across Nu Metro cinemas per month.
  • Movie vouchers do not guarantee entry to a cinema as regular box office booking processes apply and certain performances may be sold out.
  • Movie vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged once purchased.
  • Vouchers marked “2D” are valid for 1 (one) regular “2D” movie ticket.
  • Vouchers marked “2D” are not valid for “3D”, “VIP”, “Xtreme” or “4DX” movies.
  • Vouchers marked “2D” or “3D” are not valid for Scene Xtreme, Scene VIP or 4DX offerings.
  • Prepaid vouchers are valid for 3 (three) months from the date of issue.
  • The following process should be followed to redeem your movie vouchers:
    • select Nu Metro under the Entertainment section of My Deals and then select Buy Now;
    • select your payment method, then select Pay Now and follow the prompts;
    • complete the PayU process; and
    • access movie vouchers in the My Wallet section of the MyRewardsClub application under Vouchers.
  • The Nu Metro Benefit is offered subject to Nu Metro’s General Terms and Conditions which can be found at https://numetro.co.za/terms-and-conditions/.
  • MyRewardsClub Ster-Kinekor Benefit:
  • The MyRewardsClub Ster-Kinekor benefit (the “Ster-Kinekor Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to discounted movie tickets at selected Ster-Kinekor cinemas.
  • The Ster-Kinekor Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee.
  • Each 2D voucher can only be used once by the person to whom it had been issued for admission and is redeemable at any Ster-Kinekor theatre in the Republic of South Africa, except Cine Prestige and 3D movies.
  • Each 3D voucher can only be used once by the person to whom it had been issued for admission and is redeemable at any Ster-Kinekor theatre in the Republic of South Africa, except Cine Prestige.
  • Each movie voucher can be redeemed at the ticket counter and SSTs (self-service terminals), via Ticketline, the Ster-Kinekor website or mobi sites.
  • The person to whom the voucher had been issued is responsible for its safe-keeping.
  • Lost vouchers will not be replaced. This may include forwarding or access to the correspondence containing the voucher.
  • In the event that a movie voucher is invalid or cannot be found on the Ster-Kinekor system, the subscriber should call the MyRewardsClub Contact Centre by calling 087 825 1156 during Contact Centre hours which are Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00 and Saturdays from 09h00 to 13h00.
  • A movie voucher cannot be utilised in conjunction with any other special, promotional, discount or any club offerings.
  • We regret that no refunds on vouchers or tickets will be processed.
  • Savings on vouchers are based on regular ticket pricing.
  • DR shall not be held liable for any financial loss arising from the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of any voucher or any failure or inability by the subscriber to use a voucher for any reason.
  • All vouchers and purchases of tickets are subject to Ster-Kinekor’s Terms and Conditions and Admission Terms which form part of these Terms.
  • To review the full and latest Ster-Kinekor Terms and Conditions or for movie information, a list of cinema locations, show-times and trailers please visit sterkinekor.com or www.sterkinekor.mobi.
  • Vouchers marked “2D” are valid for 1 (one) regular “2D” movie ticket and is not valid for “3D” or “Cine Prestige” movies.
  • Vouchers marked “3D” are valid for 1 (one) regular “3D” movie ticket and not valid for “Cine Prestige” movies.
  • Prepaid vouchers are valid for 3 (three) months from the date of issue.
  • As a MyRewardsClub subscriber you are not limited to the number of vouchers available across Ster-Kinekor cinemas per month.
  • Movie vouchers do not guarantee entry to a cinema as regular box office booking processes apply and certain performances may be sold out.
  • Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash in part or whole, is non-refundable or exchangeable, for purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods.
  • The following process should be followed to redeem your movie vouchers:
    • select Ster-Kinekor under the Entertainment section of My Deals and then select Buy Now;
    • select your payment method, then select Pay Now and follow the prompts;
    • complete the PayU process; and
    • access movie vouchers in the My Wallet section of the MyRewardsClub application under Vouchers.
  • The voucher includes regular size popcorn and cold drink only.
  • Each combo voucher can be redeemed at the catering counters, however, not via SSTs (self-service terminals), Ticketline or the Ster-Kinekor web or mobi sites.
  • The voucher cannot be utilised in conjunction with any other special, promotion, discount or any club offerings.
  • Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with a movie combo.
  • The subscriber is limited to 1 (one) popcorn/cold drink voucher for each movie ticket.
  • Combo vouchers cannot be redeemed against 3D glasses and any other menu items, unless specified in the Ster-Kinekor Terms and Conditions.
  • MyRewardsClub Soccer Ticket Benefit:
  • The MyRewardsClub soccer ticket benefit (the “Soccer Ticket Benefit”) entitles you, as a monthly subscriber, to discounted soccer tickets at Premier League soccer matches in the Republic of South Africa.
  • The Soccer Ticket Benefit is only available for use by MyRewardsClub subscribers that have paid their monthly subscription fee.
  • The Soccer Ticket Benefit may only be used for Premier League soccer matches in the Republic of South Africa and exclude Cup, Derby matches and/or international fixtures.
  • A subscriber will pay for the soccer ticket voucher in the MyRewardsClub application which can be redeemed for the desired soccer game at any Money Market counter of any Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper.
  • The soccer ticket voucher does not guarantee ticket availability.
  • The subscriber should reserve a voucher at least 5 (five) Business Days before the match to ensure a higher probability of ticket availability, as well as allowing adequate lead time to collect the tickets.
  • The Soccer Ticket Benefit applies only to regular priced stand tickets and not to any box or VIP tickets.
  • Vouchers do not guarantee entry to a stadium.
  • Your voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • Soccer ticket vouchers are valid for 3 (three) months from the date of issue and the voucher value will be lost if not utilised.
  • The bearer of the soccer ticket voucher will be deemed to be the owner of such voucher.
  • You are limited to 10 (ten) soccer ticket vouchers per month.
  • When you use your voucher you must sign a voucher payment slip at the Money Market counter.
  • How to use:
    • purchase your soccer ticket voucher in the MyRewardsClub application;
    • receive your soccer ticket voucher number in the My Wallet section of the MyRewardsClub application under Vouchers; and
    • go to your closest Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper Money Market counter and book your soccer ticket through Computicket.

  • Delivery of Benefits and Coupons:

Delivery of the benefits and vouchers will occur through the MyRewardsClub application.  Redemption of rewards may be processed through the designated telephone numbers, through the MyRewardsClub application or any other means as indicated by DR from time to time.

  • Third Party Links:
  • Links to third party websites are provided for your convenience only and may be discontinued at any point in time.
  • The fact that DR provides a link to a third party website does not mean that we endorse, authorise, are affiliated with or sponsor that particular website.
  • Queries and Complaints:

For any queries, or should you wish to lodge a complaint, please contact us through the contact details as reflected in clause 2.2.

  • User Undertakings:

 

    • You understand and agree not to:
      • post, transmit, redistribute, upload or promote any communications or content that could harm or negatively impact the MyRewardsClub Interface or any other user;
      • act in a manner, or employ any device, that restricts, impairs, interferes or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the MyRewardsClub Interface or which impacts the security of the MyRewardsClub Interface;
      • employ any device or attempt to use any engine, software, tool, agent, script or other device or mechanism (including, without limitation, spiders, bots, crawlers, avatars or intelligent agents) to navigate or search the MyRewardsClub Interface, or to copy content from the MyRewardsClub Interface, or engage in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to the MyRewardsClub Interface; or
      • use the MyRewardsClub Interface contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any manner that causes, or may cause, harm to the MyRewardsClub Interface, or to any user or infringe the Intellectual Property rights of DR, any third party, customer or user.
    • We reserve the right to immediately bar access to the MyRewardsClub Interface and close, or suspend, the account of any subscriber or user who violates these undertakings or any other provision of these Terms.
    • The user understands that the user’s information (not including credit card information) may be transferred, unencrypted and involve: (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. DR confirms that credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
    • The user agrees not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the MyRewardsClub Interface without the prior written consent of DR.
    • The user shall be responsible for all actions taken on the user’s account. You should not share or disclose your login credentials with, or to, any other person.
  • DR’s Rights:
  1. DR reserves the right to suspend or permanently disable accounts due to breach of these Terms or due to any illegal or inappropriate use of the MyRewardsClub Interface.
  • Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information:
    • We are not responsible if information made available on the MyRewardsClub Interface is not accurate, complete or current.
    • We reserve the right to modify the contents of the MyRewardsClub Interface at any time, however, we shall not have an obligation to update any information on the MyRewardsClub Interface. You agree that it is your sole responsibility to monitor changes and updates to the MyRewardsClub Interface.

 

  • Changes to Terms:
    • We reserve the right, at any time, to amend, alter, modify or change, as we deem fit, any part of these Terms without any prior notice.
    • We will post modified versions of the Terms on our website and we encourage you to review these Terms every time you use the MyRewardsClub Interface.
    • Your use of the MyRewardsClub Interface constitutes your agreement to the most recent version of the Terms.
  • Modifications to the MyRewardsClub Interface:
    • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the MyRewardsClub Interface (or any portion of the MyRewardsClub Interface), temporarily or permanently, with, or without, notice to you.
    • We shall not be liable to you, or any third party, if we exercise our right to modify or discontinue the MyRewardsClub Interface (or any portion of the MyRewardsClub Interface). Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that augment or enhance the current MyRewardsClub Interface shall be subject to these Terms.
  • Registration:
    • To utilise the MyRewardsClub Interface you need to register your details with us. You must ensure that your registration credentials are accurate, truthful and updated when they are amended.
    • We reserve the right to block the creation of your account based on our inability to confirm the authenticity of your registration credentials.
    • For security reasons, we reserve the right to request additional information from subscribers and users, including original documents, and to verify documents with issuing institutions.
  • Ownership of Rights:
    • For purposes of these Terms, “Intellectual Property” means any rights to know-how (not in the public domain), invention (whether or not patented), design, trade mark, copyright material, traditional knowledge or plant breeder’s rights, whether registered or not, anywhere in the world.
    • All Intellectual Property that is owned by DR or its third party licensors shall exclusively belong to DR and its third party licensors and nothing in these Terms shall give the subscribers or users any rights in any Intellectual Property which is utilised by, or proprietary to, DR.
    • Without limiting the aforementioned, the subscribers and users take notice of the fact that “MyRewardsClub” is a trade mark of DR and that the subscribers or users shall not be entitled to utilise said trade mark without the prior written consent of DR.
    • We make no representations or warranties in relation to any third party software or products that form part of the MyRewardsClub Interface.
  • Notices:
    • All notices must be served in writing to our contact details as reflected in clause 2.2.
    • All notices to the subscriber or user shall be served to the contact emails forming part of the profile information of the subscriber or user.
  • Exclusion of Liability:
    • You understand and agree that, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages or losses, including, but not limited to, any loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of business reputation, loss of data, cost of procurement of substitute services or other intangible losses, in relation to, or resulting from, your use of the MyRewardsClub Interface.
    • We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of the MyRewardsClub Interface will be uninterrupted or error-free.
    • DR accepts no responsibility or liability for the quality of service and/or meals that you have received from any of our partners. Furthermore, DR will not become involved in any non-MyRewardsClub-related disputes between subscribers and third party suppliers (including, without limitation, restaurants and fast food outlets).
    • Any costs incurred by DR arising from your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms shall be borne by you on an attorney-and-own-client scale.
  • General:
    • Where figures are referred to in numerals and in words, if there is any conflict between the two, the parties agree that the words shall prevail.
    • Clause headings in these Terms are for the purpose of convenience and reference only and shall not be used in the interpretation of, nor modify, nor amplify its terms, nor any of its clauses.
    • When a number of days are prescribed in these Terms, same shall be calculated exclusively of the first and inclusively of the last day, unless the last day falls on a day which is not a Business Day, in which case the last day shall be the next succeeding Business Day.
    • Any term defined within the context of any particular clause in these Terms shall, unless otherwise determined by the context, bear the meaning ascribed to it for all purposes in relation to these Terms.
    • Expiration or termination of these Terms shall not affect such of its provisions as expressly provide that they shall continue to operate thereafter or which, of necessity, must continue to have effect thereafter, notwithstanding that the clauses themselves do not expressly provide for such continuation.
    • In these Terms, the rule of construction that a contract shall be interpreted against the party responsible for the drafting or preparation of the contract, shall not apply.
    • The subscriber or user shall not cede, delegate, subcontract or assign, nor in any other manner, dispose of any of its rights or obligations arising from these Terms, without the prior written approval of DR.
    • These Terms, read with the Privacy Statement, contains the entire agreement between the parties, with respect to the subject matter of these Terms, and supersedes all prior agreements between the parties, whether written or verbal, with respect to the subject matter of these Terms.
    • A failure to enforce or to require the performance, at any time, of any of the provisions of these Terms shall not be construed to be a waiver of such provision and shall not affect either the validity of these Terms, or any part hereof, or the right of any party to enforce the provisions of these Terms.
    • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid, and such provision shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions of these Terms.
